About the Club

The people behind the courses, the tournaments, and the community.

Who We Are

The Black Hills Disc Golf Club is a crew of players based in Rapid City, South Dakota, working to grow disc golf in the Black Hills region. We run tournaments, maintain local courses, organize league play, and try to get more people out throwing.

What We Do

Tournaments

From casual bag tags to The Mammoth, a PDGA A-Tier that draws players from across the region. We host events at every level.

League Nights

Four nights a week in season: handicap league Tuesdays in Rapid City, Wednesdays in Spearfish, casual Thursdays in Custer, and Friday glow rounds. Weekly details post in the Facebook group.

Course Maintenance

Jackson Park, Omaha DGC, and LaCroix DGC, kept in shape with volunteer labor and club funds.

Growing the Sport

New player clinics, course improvements, and community outreach. If you can throw a frisbee, you can play disc golf.

Course work days, tournament staffing, league nights, board seats. The club runs on volunteers, so tell us what you're up for and we'll be in touch.

Get Involved

Whether you've been playing for years or you're curious about trying it, come say hi. The easiest way to connect is through our Facebook group, where we post updates, organize casual rounds, and talk shop. You can also join the club on Disc Golf Scene for tournament registration and standings.
